" Imagine driving down a country road in any beautiful Michigan season. The road winds and eventually turns into a small two-track road. You and your dog are greeted by a variety of nature's wonders. A herd of deer, a road full of wild turkeys, an occasional eagle if you're lucky, and a huge flock of ravens to escort you to the end of the road. There you and your dog will find a lovely, clean and warm setting.

My dog's name is Luca and we have visited Goldeneye Kennel many times in the last few years. Luca is always excited to arrive and greets Kim with great enthusiasm, as he knows he is in a safe, loving place where he will be well cared for. He will be fed per my instruction.m He will never have to relieve himself in his comfortable kennel as he is given reign to run so often, and gets to socialize and play with other friends he has mad, or friends that have just arrived while their "parents" are away for a while.

He is greeted with a new toy, a fresh bowl of water, all in a setting that is open, clean and comfortable. Unlike many other kennel experiences I have had, Goldeneye Kennel has offered us the most perfect setting I could imagine, as I leave my precious dog, whom I love as much as my children, in an environment that I feel is the beast place to board my Luca. Unlike other kennels, Kim will allow only a maximum of 15 dogs and will not tolerate constant barking or unruly or aggressive behavior from her keep. There is no need to have luca groomed on my arrival, as he has never come out of the kennel with that typical "kennel" smell that we have found in other places we have visited in the past. He is a happy dog when I arrive after my journey, short or long.

The best part for me is knowing that can leave my dog with a trusted, responsible person, walk away, never look back, and never worry about the care of my precious dog while I am away. This means everything to me and my family. We will take Luca to Goldeneye Kennel every time we need this service without hesitation. It is truly his home away from home and I would not have it any other way."

" Joan & Steve, Peninsula Township, have a 3 yr. old golden retriever, Finbar who has been going to Goldeneye for over 2 years.

Finbar get excited when we roll the window down as we cross Kim's property a half mile or so from the kennel. He is happy to stay at Goldeneye to play with his large dog buddys, run in the woods, to find toys and hang out with Kim. Goldeneye is like a camp for change of pace and now part of his extended family. Kim runs as excellent kennel and is very kind and knowledgeable of dogs." "

It is hard to believe a year has gone by already! When we are ready for another addition, we will be giving you a call. Heisman would love to come and visit some time!"

"As I write this note to you, our pup is busy trying to find MORE food!

We just wanted you to know he's a great little boy (he's up to 30+ lbs.). We named him Zeke. He's been to the vet already and had some more shots, so he's already getting to know the vet.

He has helped me with my healing process after the loss of my 9 year old lab. You can't help but love him.

Just wanted you to know we are all getting used to each other. We look forward to many years with Zeke."
